Hey friends,

I’m back and I hope to keep blogging as long as I can this time. :D

It’s been a busy week for me at work as well as recuperating from a viral fever which took my weekend away. Just when I feel a bit better, it’s Monday already and the week starts all over again. I think 2 days off it’s enough for me. Everyone would think the same and also everyone would rather not work at all if given the option. I was going through my diary and came across this phrase I wrote down some time ago, “Understanding the past is fundamental for living in the present and essential for believing in the future”. Rather complicated phrase I wrote but it has been something I use every single day without realizing it, maybe even you too..

I think I’ll stop for now, leaving something behind for you to ponder on.

Good Morning,

I think it's about time I have the title of my blog changed.. and the worst part of it is that I have no idea.. I want something that potrays my current life and at the same time represent who I am.. I'm expecting too much from just a few words, or maybe I should just make up a word.. Yeah, it sounds easy but I'm confused.. @_@

Paddle Pop..

Last night, someone’s fingernails caught my attention and it reminded me of Paddle Pop.. Hence the picture below.. haha..

It’s been years since I had one.. Remembering back those time when the ice-cream “uncle” would be driving around playing the paddle pop song on his bike.. Running out shouting “stop! stop!” and the uncle would turn back and seconds later I would be enjoying the ice-cream..

As we discussed and deliberated over our dinner menu like how we do almost every day since the Ramadan month began. I could hear someone saying “Kenny Rogers” and I replied it’s too far.. I heard another suggest “Nandos” and everyone went like “AGAIN??”.. We’ve been having so much of Nandos lately and decided no more.. hehe..

Then I heard someone mention of a place called “Param”.. Wow, I thought to myself we could try something different today.. Nice!!.. Moments later finding out that “Param” stands for Pasar Ramadan.. Haih.. Finally we got our dinner from the food court.. :P

Tomi & Jamie’s Wedding..

I know what you guys must be thinking.. I’m blogging about another wedding.. It seems that way isn’t from my last few posts.. First was about Syai’s engagement then Dav & Mich’s and now on Tomi & Jamie’s wedding..

I’ve lost the ability to blog on anything at any time.. It’s been kinda boring not being able to find what I've lost since I don't know what and how I lost it.. Maybe my working life has stolen away that passion to blog.. (wow, I've associated passion and blogging).. haha..

The wedding was held on 28 August in town called Kuching which is the home town of the groom, Mr. Tomi Tulin Entaban.. Few of us decided to go together and booked the earliest flight Air Asia had on the wedding day.. We got the 7am flight yesterday and returned 1pm today.. This was quite a short trip but we had fun and enjoyed every moment of it..

The wedding started at 1030am and knowing this we took the earliest flight we could, 7am.. The journey was suppose to be within one hour 40 minutes.. I thought we could be there around 9am the latest but was madly mistaken.. Reaching only at 940am due to 40mins delay we rushed to get ourselves ready at the airport..

By the time we got ready and walked to the exit, Elvina’s parents were already waiting to drive us straight to the church.. Thanks to them again.. Plus a lot of minutes waiting at the traffic lights (a lot of traffic lights man) we arrived around 1050am and missed the bride’s walk in (what do you call this)..

The wedding was like any other Christian wedding I've been too with the pastor/priest officiating the ceremony, singing of some praises songs and hymns, the word preached by the pastor, exchanging of the vows and hearing “you may now kiss the bride”, “now I pronounce you husband and wife” and finally the exit of the bride & groom from the church..

When Jamie mentioned the theme was green apples.. I really didn't expects green apples literally..

After which we had a photo taking session with the newly weds, lunch and a lot of catching up with friends even with some that I haven't meet for years now.. And the first thing they ask me was about my ____. It was just funny to see the reactions of these people cause of my transformation.. haha..

We didn't have a clue at that time but left it to our tour guide, allow me to introduce a girl who was born and raised in Kuching, one of the “blurest” and funniest person I know and laughs before she even finishes telling her own jokes.. Drum roll please.. Elvina..

Thanks Elv.. :) After all the fun we got ourselves ready for the wedding dinner.. You people must be wondering if we still could manage to eat anything after what we had.. Answer : Yea man.. haha.. The food was good and the dinner went on perfectly with some performances and speeches by the best man, maid of honor, Tomi & Jamie’s dad and not forgetting the VIPs for the night..

Congratulations to the newly weds,Tomi & Jamie and I wish you both the best for your marriage life.. That's all for now I guess.. I’ve been rambling for sometime and not realizing that I've spent an hour and half on this.. Looks like i starting to remember what I've lost.. lol..

You’ve heard of the quote “the grass is greener on the other side” but is it really green or do your eyes deceive you? After hearing some stories, there is no such thing as the grass is greener on the other side..

I look to my left and all I see is a brown field and same goes on my right.. Then I look down at where I'm standing and I think to myself, “Well this is greener after all”..

Come on people, you think you’re better of in someone else’s shoes.. Think again and use your brains this time.. Be grateful for what you have and what you don't have.. There is a reason you don't have what someone else have..

and yes with this you'll know the team I'm supporting.. Italy's unlikely to win again but still I like how Italians play football.. Haha.. It looks like Spain or Brazil are the favorites to win this year..

I watched half of the opening match last night which was between the host country, South Africa and Mexico.. The game ended one all and I planned to watch the next game, France against Uruguay at 2.30am but this didn’t turn out at all.. I felt asleep before the game even started while watching grey's to pass the time..

Oh man.. This cannot happen again tonight.. England vs USA and somehow I’m an anti-England supporter.. So go USA.. Haha.. Don’t hate me England fans.. I know there are some anti-Man Utd fan and so there must exist some anti-England fans hence the justification.. Lol..

Hope that this would be a much more interesting match seeing that the first 2 matches ended with draws.. Never mind, Argentina against Nigeria’s match is before that.. Let see how this goes with Lionel Messi playing.. :)

Run, Swim and Fly a Kite..

Hey friends,

Have you heard of the phrase “you got to learn how to run before you can walk?” Well that’s totally true for me when I experienced it firsthand. An analogy everyone would better relate to is “You are thrown in a pool without knowing how to swim, what will you do??” Do you give up and just drop like a rock to the bottom? Or do you try your hardest to stay afloat in the hope of someone rescuing you. Don’t do either of those? Surprised??

Yea, humans are born with and instinct to survive and think of when babies were born, did someone give them a manual on how to breathe but yet they inhale and exhale anyway. This somehow for me relates to you being dumped in a pool and being asked to survive. Swim and swim I would say. The faster your survival instinct kicks in the better it is for you. Moving forward, learn as much as you can in the quickest time possible for you will never know when you’ll be thrown in the pool or worst the ocean.

Somehow some teachers @ “gurus” @ “cifus” practice this. Their students are placed in situation totally foreign to them and they are forced to survive. But these teachers have an eye on them, willing to help and advice when their pupils are unable to move. A bit of nudging here and there, like how a mother eagle pushes her baby of the nest to teach it how to fly. Wow, it just amazes me how these baby birds are able to fly at first try. Soon enough the pupils will spread their wings and fly on their own. I want to mention few names but none are coming to my head now.

Never think that your teachers have forgotten you and don’t you dare forget them. Imagine yourself as the a kite! Yes a kite! When you are up in the air did you ever think of how you got up so high? Wasn’t it because of the pulling and nudging of the string attached to you, and the effort put into propelling you in the air. This string also symbolizes your safety harness knowing that you are up so high, you still feel safe cause you know there’s someone always someone there for you, holding you and guiding you.

Have someone come to your mind now?? When was the last you thanked and appreciated them?? Well I’m guessing your parents and family are the first to pop in followed by your mentors may it be from your career, sports, school and especially friends.

This weekend was an awesome one.. On Saturday my friends and I went to visit the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.. The six of us (James, Peck Koon, Charles, Erica, Xiao Qi and myself) managed to squeeze ourselves in James’s car.. Haha.. This reminds me of times in UTP when there was only one car to travel anywhere.. 6 or 7 wasn’t a problem that time.. haha..

What’s unexpected was that this outing turned out to be a housemates gathering.. We were trying to meet up for some time now and it has never happen due to some sort of reasons la.. Just imagine the 6 of us are always never free the same time.. So yea, we took this chance to name it a housemates gathering as well.. Oh ya, forgot to include the part where we meet Gou Lin which wouldn't be a housemate gathering without him right and Auther as well.. haha.. Enough rambling for now.. PICTURES please!!..:D hehe..

Port Dickson Trip..

Hey Friends,

This weekend was nice as I was able to have a getaway from work and just chillax (chill + relax) with friends.. It was one of those weekends we could chillax a bit longer due to Friday being a public holiday.. The six of us, Adrian, Debbie, Sabrina - Deb's sister, Charles, Erica and myself just couldn't wait for this trip which we planned for some time dy (1 week).. Haha.. We were also joined by another cute and adorable she..

Baby~

Take a look.. Her name is BABY the reason being, Deb couldn’t decide on a name and just started calling her baby for the time being and once Pebbles (from the Flintstone) was chosen, she only responded to baby.. Haha.. So much for choosing a name..

Ok, back to the trip.. We left KL around 3 and reached our accommodation at GLORY BEACH around 430 which we stayed for a few minutes before heading for the beach.. It wasn’t a surprise when we reached the beach, the sand we white and not too bad but the water was just horrible to say the least.. We walked along the beach till we found a spot we could chillax away from the overcrowded beach.. What did we expect on a public holiday? The beaches were closed exclusively for us? How I wish man.. Few of us dared to enter the water which the other watched..

Cleaned up and headed for dinner at what was "suppose to be" one of the best place in PD.. The seafood was nice but there are much better places I’ve been too.. Haha. Nvm not every place can be the best right.. Hehe.. We played MAHJONG, POKER and MONOPOLY DEAL for most of our time there..

And Yes Mahjong, I've learned how to play it and I’m not bad at all.. Haha.. Anyone want to play mahjong next time, please do call me yea.. Haha.. I'm kind of addicted to it I guess. Our time was occupied by the cute little bugger as well.. Haha.. The next day we went out exploring for another place to chillax and we found one, AVALON Beach which had way cleaner water then the place before..

Dear Housemates..

On our last day, we slept in till it was time for us to "check out" and after which we had some awesome lunch.. It’s called DIRTY MEE.. How did we get to know about this place?? Well, it's all thanks to Charles's GPS which gave us a list of places we could go for food and DIRTY MEE sounds the most interesting of the lot.. So off we went following the GPS to god know where, driving over rough terrains and off roads to reach our destination. But the food was worth it..

What I Found in Miri..

Hey guys,

I was in MIRI for the 2nd time in the pass 2 weeks.. Both were business trips (meetings from 8-5) and it was pretty hectic man.. But after 5 was fun of course.. Well, I arrived on Monday and departed on Wednesday night..

I’ll start from the end this time.. LOOK what I found in Miri?? I wasn't expecting to meet Adrian there of all places and so did he.. Gaya was flying back to KL for the holidays.. Go INTERGRITY!!.. haha.. Practically the 3 of us were on the same flight.. The others (~~permanent~~ Miri people dy), Ping Hun and Ira were very good hosts by sending us to the airport and have been ‘layan-ing’ me for the past 3 nights.. Thanks you guys!!.. :D

Rewinding even further now to the 1st day I arrived there.. We couldn't decide where to go for dinner and we ended up picking lots from a few choices.. Ping Hun picked Restoran MUARA and it was the last place he wanted to go.. haha.. Well I just wanted to try their famous NASI LELAPAN and the verdict is --> it was some awesome food man.. You guys should try it if you can.. After dinner we did our usual activity which was playing MONOPOLY DEAL..

Dear Friends,

It’s the new game you can play anywhere and it’s called MONOPOLY DEAL.. No need for any more boards or dices or even hours your time.. This new game I found, not actually sure it’s new but I just recently only started playing it and it’s very fun and exciting.. haha.. With this game, you just need a few friends and place to chill and your set to play it.. It doesn't take up your time also, just a few minutes and you’re done..

So far I’ve been playing this every where imaginable.. Plus it’s super easy to get hooked on it.. Am I right friends??.. I think HASBRO should be paying me for advertising their game man.. haha.. Now I got to know that they are selling these cards at Parkson for only RM 20.. So friends if you see it just get it and trust me you’ll have fun..

This is what is written at the back of the card.. “The fast-paced, addictive card game where your luck can change in the play of a card!..” and believe me it’s so true.. :D

Hey Friends,

How was your Friday night? It’s nice to hang out on a Friday night compared to other night I think.. Just because you completed a week of work and looking forward to the weekend and also.. Knowing that the next day is a Saturday and there’s no work and there’s no need to wake up early.. :D

My Friday night was spent with my housemates, uni mates – Charles and Mei Shang.. We decided to go to Dragon-i for dinner, no la actually just me.. But by the time we reached there was about 9.30pm.. Parking was a killer man.. Round round the whole One-U for God knows how long.. It was like the whole PJ was there (over la but that what it seem like anyways)..

I’ve been craving for this “Hot and Sour” Noodle they serve there for some time dy.. After dinner we watched a movie, The Spy Next Door played by Jackie Chan.. The movie was sometimes funny, emphasis on the word sometimes.. haha.. There wasn’t much of cool fighting scenes which I normally enjoy watching with Jackie Chan movies.. Overall I would rate it 2.8/5..

Don't ask me what she’s distracted with (like a cat eyeing a butterfly).. haha..

The night wasn’t over yet.. We joined Debbie for some drinks at Royal Oakly (I think that's what it’s called).. haha.. We were chit chatting late till about 3 something and we didn't go back home straight away, instead we went for supper.. As usual, I was hungry gila dy by that time.. :P There’s no stopping me from having food anytime anywhere one I guess..

Hey you guys,

First, I wanna say sorry for being away from the blogging world.. Things kinda been busy lately and I don't have an internet connection yet to blog at my own time.. Now I'm back in JB after a months being away at work.. So far I'm enjoying my working life.. I know it's kinda weird hearing someone saying they enjoy working.. So you guys must be wondering what I've been up too since my last post.. Let's start with Christmas.. Christmas this year was different and fun.. Never mind let the pictures do the talking.. hehe.. Oops.. I can't find it anywhere now..

Next is PIPE 53.. I even labeled this post (PIPE 53) under Holidays, Outings and Trips.. PIPE was super duper fun and I made quite lot of new friends.. Some of the activities I felt it was a bit childish but nevertheless all of us we forced to do and we ended up kinda enjoying it.. For me the best thing about PIPE was the networking, and I have broaden my scope from within UTP friends..

Even so, there are still so many UTPians.. You just cant run away from them.. Just imagine knowing someone for the first time and coming to realize that you been studying in the same uni as that person and not bumping into each other even once during the 5 years I was there.. UTP isn't that big right.. Well enough of me rambling.. They say a picture is worth a thousand words..

Day Light Robberies..

Hey Friends,

I'm currently putting up at my Aunt's place in Bangsar for the time being before I move into a place of my own.. When I got back from work the other day, she storied me on a robbery which took place that afternoon at the neighbors place..

Apparently, two guys jumped the fence at the neighbor’s place and broke open the house gate and took the person's jewelry and other valuable stuffs which they could get their hands on.. If this not bad enough, they even stabbed the lady which was sleeping on the sofa and pulled her gold chain from her neck as well.. The robbers then jumped over the gate and took of in a van. What?? Crazy right?? Mine you that this happen at 4 pm in a residential area.. Wow!! Robbers are getting braver and crueler in their demoralizing acts to earn money or for the pleasure of it?? Why did they have to stab the lady?? They could have just taken what they wanted and left right?? Psycho robbers..

Wait, there's more.. In the morning, around 630 am when my uncle and I left for work.. He would drop me of at the LRT station and I would take it to work.. After we left the house, two guys in a van came over and rang the house bell.. They asked the maid to open the gate so they could spray some pesticides.. The maid didn’t know anything about this arrangement and it was so early in the morning.. Confused and all, she called my Aunt to handle the matter with those 2 guys.. My aunt told them that she didn’t call any such pesticide people or anything..

They still insisted and replied by saying my uncle asked them to come over and they used his full name and all.. Wow!! My aunt had their own people who would do the spraying for them.. Soon enough she realized that they weren’t them.. She said she didn’t want and they left in the van after a while.. My Aunt told me that they were so convincingly true, they wore the pesticide uniform and came with the spray canister and hose and all other equipments, you get what I mean..

Robbers are getting smarter or just smart people losing their way in life.. Retrench and can’t find a job they resort to conning people and robbing them instead.. So friends, be careful out there.. Sometimes you may want to help a person to change their flat tire at the side of the road.. This twice if it's a deserted place and if you're alone don’t even think about helping.. I know I may seem bad to say don’t help.. But just be wise and careful who you help.. People are taking advantage of our good will and sympathy we show for them..

First Week of Work..

Hey Friends,

My first week of work is just over.. Well I had only 2 working days actually.. I started my first day on Wednesday and the week ended on the next day, Thursday.. Wow!! So nice man.. Today is a public holiday and so is the following Friday (CHRISTMAS) and the Friday after that (NEW YEAR)..

So for this year I have four working days in a week.. Yeah!! How I which it was throughout the whole year next year.. I know so fast I’m excited about holidays already plus is was my first week only somemore.. Never mind I’m still getting paid.. So who cares right?? hehe..

I've just started and I don’t know much about what I'm suppose to do yet.. What's my direction in my line of work? Am I lost?? Maybe, for now but I know I'll find it soon enough.. My working colleagues are a funny bunch of people and they do make me feel at home from the get go.. What's my position and what do I do?? I'll rather not discuss it here I guess... hehe.. I don’t intent to mix my working stuff with my blog..

Samuel’s Wedding is tomorrow at Kajang.. Well he's the only other cousin on my mom's side, compared to the 22 which I have on my dad's side.. Samuel is few years older then I and I've not seen him for quite some time dy (maybe 3- 4 years).. Hope I'll be able to take some pictures tomorrow if the camera is repaired.. haha.. There are so many things which I want to blog about but not now.. I've kind of not in the mood to blog.. :(

Hey Friends,

Sorry, I’ve been missing from my blog lately.. Was in KL for a week, I had to send my confirmation letter to Petronas and had a family holiday at the same time and I was also hunting for a place to stay.. Safe to say that I found one and I feel good about it.. I wanted to blog about last week but didn't have the chance to snap any pictures (camera rosak!!!).. sad sad..

I’ll be starting my working life in a few days time and to be more specific this coming Wednesday (16th).. A weird day to start work right?? I would be working for 10 days before I head for a two week training period in PERMATA, Bangi..

Now I’m busy packing my belongings to bring along with me.. :D I’m some sort excited of what lay ahead of me.. Well, most people tell me to enjoy the freedom before it’s over.. I’ve been enjoying it for the pass five months and now I can say bravely that I’m ready for the next chapter of my life..

I’m going to miss a lot of things here in JB.. My family, church and friends.. Wont be seeing them that often anymore.. Here’s to some sort of a new beginning and a new chapter of my life.. :D

Hey Friends,

NEW MOON is a total romantic movie.. And not your everyday romantic movie, just that humans fall for vampires and warewolfs.. It’s weird how she falls for a vampire and a warewolf when both of them are doomed enemies.. And why does the director have to end the movie like “Will you marry me”?? He think were watching a series (sort of in a way) is it and the next episode is a week away.. Never mind, I’m reading ECLIPSE now..

When I went to watch the movie I was surprise at the crowd that turned out.. It was the premier and the cinema was half empty, maybe it was a late night show but still.. 2012 was even fully booked till 1 am.. So what was wrong with NEW MOON (I think people rather watch how the world was going to end then some pretty vampire love story).. I thought it was going to be packed and stuff but apparently not.. Maybe it happens only in JB?? haha..

And with all the teenagers going gaga over the guys in the movie.. When I was watching, I could hear so many weird weird sound coming from all the girls when Jacob took off his t-shirt and when the wolf pack guys were walking shirtless.. They were going like, WOOOO!! WOW!!.. haha.. It just amasses me sometimes..

Overall I ENJOYED the movie, I think it was better then TWILIGHT.. First of all it was based on the book way more and I like comparing the movie running in my head when I was reading the book with the movie itself.. Not to mention, the vampires and warewolfs.. Who wouldn't want to be one?? haha.. I give a 4/5.. I recommend that you guys read the book first before watching it.. You’ll appreciate the movie better.. :D

I think the movie plays a big role cause it shows what teenagers do when they are heart broken and hope people don't get so obsessed until.. read this blog (is very funny).. or even worst, agree to committing suicide over love and think is right.. Silly shit right, I guess everyone has been through it like a phase of life and when they look back.. They would just laugh at themselves..

Does this sound right after you watch this movie?? For me I thought the movie was just ~~a bit~~ too much right, how the family escaped the with the limo from the earth quake and in the plane from all the falling buildings..

WOW, They could just escape everything right??

One word to describe it, OVER!!!.. It was like watching a Tamil movie where the Hero is virtually indestructible kind of thing.. But there was an up side to it, I liked the graphics of movie.. I thought it was cool enough.. I finally gave it a 3/5..

READING, I’ve been doing that quite a lot lately.. And I wanted to share this interesting bit with you guys..

But now ask the beast, and let them teach you; and the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you.. –Job 12:7-

God says, to learn from the beast and the birds. And one of God’s marvelous creatures we can learn from is the majestic eagle.. The magnificent appearance and awesome skills of the eagle are often used by God to symbolize important truths to His people..

These eagles can grow so large to have a wide span of fourteen to fifteen feet and an average weight of thirty pounds.. Because of its immense size, the eagle has been widely used as a symbol of power, freedom and greatness.. It also represents beauty, grace and confidence. The eagle is the King of the birds.. Here, it is seen to master its surroundings where it soars gracefully and flies above lofty mountains though scorching sun and turbulent storms..

The eagles speaks of someone who is the master of his environment and who is in control of his situation.. He is someone who has the ability and power to rule and live above his circumstances even in the midst of storms and trials..

It’s interesting to note how eagles fall in love.. The two birds begin their courtship way up in the heavens.. The female will pick a stick with her talons and fly over the hills and mountains looking for a prospective mate.. As soon as she spots a male eagle that she likes, she will drop that stick to where he is.. If this male eagle wants to respond to the female, he will then fly into the sky and stretches out his feet to seize the stick.. He will glide towards the female eagle and return the stick to her.. He then dives down and resumes his place..

The female will continue circling the air with that stick and drops it again.. The male will see the stick falling and if he is interested in her, he will once again reach out into the sky, catches that stick and sends it back to her.. This spectacular gesture is repeatedly demonstrated for each to know that they are responding to one another..

After which, they will both fly high into the sky and grapple with each other’s talons.. They will enfold each other and from thousands of miles up in the heavens, they will come tumbling down.. And just before they hit the ground, they let loose of one another and again soar upwards.. Cool right..

This is a picture of how eagles mate.. They mate in the sky.. And their lovemaking, their fulfillments, their flight and joy are abound in heaven and not on earth.. Eagles mate for life.. A change of mate takes place only at the death of one or the other.. They are faithful until death..

This courtship symbolizes our love relationship with Jesus Christ, the son of God, who lives in heaven.. Here, Jesus drops a stick (the Cross) and we who were down below saw the cross and took it.. We received and embraced his love.. He came down and He took us up to be with Him, to mate with Him, and to be in love with Him.. And as we respond to God’s love, we are able to come to Him and through Him.. .. ..

To those who don't know what I’m talking about, I got an offer letter from PETRONAS.. They offered me an Executive Business Planning position in PETRONAS CARIGALI..

Singapore Zoo..

Hey Friends,

The day after we visited the glass temple, we went to yet another historical site.. Not so historical la but rather a famous one.. Which was the Singapore Zoo.. The Singapore Zoo is just about a 10 minute drive away from the Causeway..

This wasn't my first time visiting this zoo, I had many many years back and I cant remember actually when.. haha.. But this visit had a few first time experiences which you guys will see soon.. First when we reach there it started to rain and we thought to ourselves that it was just going to rain a while and it did.. But then when we started walking a few steps, it poured out again and it was raining heavy from then on..

We decided, this rain is not going to stop us from having a good time at the zoo.. We went and got ourselves a RAIN COAT each.. Woohoo!! Have you known anyone excited to wear a rain coat.. haha.. The three of us (Sharon, Vina and I) were all in green rain coats walking all over the zoo.. The rain stop for a few minutes while our visit there and we were there from 11 am up to 4 pm.. A pretty long time walking around and looking at all the animals..

We went to three shows and all of them we fantastic.. We started with the POLAR BEAR Show, then the SPLASH Show and lastly the ELEPHANT Show.. My favorite was the Splash Show, because of the Sea Lion performing super neat tricks.. It was very funny to begin with and entertaining as well..

By the end of the day, we were dead tired and our legs were painful from walking 5 hours and wet from the rain.. But the whole experience was worth everything.. It was very pleasant to watch the animal not in cages and roam around freely in their own enclosure..

First Glass Temple in the World..

Few days ago Sharon, Vina and I went to visit the First Glass Temple in the World.. First in world?? Can you believe it?? I didn't know there was something which was the FIRST in the world located in my hometown, JB (ignorant me).. Maybe there are many more historical sites which I just don't know about yet.. Now let the pictures do the talking.. :D

An Outing from Sitiawan to Genting..

Hey Friends,

On Saturday, the MIC click and I went for an outing to Sitiawan.. There was 7 of us which were Kajen, Meera, Damo, Suthan, Robert, Sangari and me.. The first evening we checked in a hotel at Lumut.. The first thing we did was to prepare our supper.. haha..

Damo locked out the room.. haha..

Seriously, we had to call the owner to open the door..

We cooked some pork peratal, cheese dip and potato salad.. Yes, we cooked in the hotel room with a multi cooker.. haha.. Then after preparing the food, we went out for some Ikan Bakar.. We had our supper and “chit chat” all night long.. It was so funny and fun to hang out with them again..

Continuing from where I left of, my previous post titled (Back in UTP).. Most people got the wrong message and thought that I was back in UTP few days ago.. Yes I was there but that was like a week ago.. Ok we got this out of the way..

Last Friday marked the beginning of my super fun weekend with my friends in UTP.. It started with breakfast with Azam and Syaima.. Then towards evening I joined my friends playing futsal and it reminded me how much I missed playing football with all of them.. Football is not the kind of sport that you can play by yourself isn't it.. I hardly get the chance to play any in JB these days..

At night my time was occupied with Farewell Night July 2009 at COP Tronoh.. The theme for that night was sports and everyone had to come with their sports attire.. The church was decorated like a sport carnival.. Now let the pictures do the talking..

Farewell Night was over around 11 but the night was still early for most of us especially me.. We went to mamak for supper and afterwards a trip to another mamak known as McD.. Finally there was only 9 people who were able to join the short trip to Sitiawan.. :D

Everyone of us was tired but enjoyed the fellowship so very very much and that's all for Friday night.. Saturday was a day spent in Lumut and that’s coming up next.. :D

Hey Friends,

To continue from where I left of, LAST Wednesday and Thursday was quite quiet for me seeing what I have done the whole week.. On Wednesday Charles, Anis and I meet up again at IKEA food court for dinner and was joined by Isaac Wong as well.. :D Our initial plan was to catch a movie but there wasn't any movie playing at 9pm.. So we just chit chat some more.. hehe..

Then it was getting late and all decided to go back because it was a working day the next day.. Chilled at Charles’s place and was watching some videos before going out again for supper at MURNI’s.. But this time Charles didn't follow, I was accompanied by my friend Artishah.. Well this day was all about eating my favorite food, Ikea’s Daim Choc Cake and Murni’s stuffs.. :D

The next day I drove to Ipoh with my Aunt and cousin, Kevin.. Towards evening I meet up with Kajen and Meera and finally got to see Kajen’s NEW car, WTC.. Crazy ar, now everyone in MIC click has a car in UTP.. haha.. Then we got back to UTP and at night we (MIC click) had a “catch up session” at the V4 car park.. It was just hilarious and reminds me of old times.. :D That’s all for Wednesday and Thursday..

Chit Chat Sessions..

Hey friends,

I was on the road for a week and it all started when I got a call to attend a chit chat session with Crude Oil Group, Petronas.. The chit chat session didn't turn out as how I expected it to be and few days later I got an email stating that my application with them was unsuccessful.. Never mind I’m still patiently waiting for the next call.. :D

Then after the chit chat session with Crude Oil Group, I had another one with Muggles.. haha.. This one turn out to be way better then expected.. Charles, Izza, Malini and myself were already in KLCC and the bunch of us decided to hang out at Madam Kwan’s.. We took our seats at 5.30pm and only left around 10 I think.. Anis joined us about a few hours later, due to coming from her working place all the way in Damansara..

It was less then a month since I saw them (Raya Convoy 2009) and we still had loads of stories to share with one another.. The best part was that we were talking and talking and didn't notice how fast the time passed.. The next thing we knew, Madam Kwan’s was getting empty and we were one of the last ones there..

We wanted to snap a picture of all of us together to remember that night.. We attempted a few but finally we got a nice one.. hehe.. Then we said our good byes and off to our homes.. So that’s all for Tuesday..

Last Sunday, my family and I went to Gianni’s Trattoria Restaurant & Cafe for our birthday dinner.. I used the word “our” cause we celebrated not only my birthday but also two of my siblings as well that night.. My sister, Abigail’s was on the 26th of Sept and my brother, Hebron was on the 10th of Oct.. This has been like a family tradition we do on our birthdays, not everyone is at home at the same time always.. :D

Gianni’s is very famous for their fine dinning Italian cuisines.. The food is just so super awesome mouth watering, that’s how good it is.. Everything look and taste great (depending if you know what to choose.. hehe..) from the appetizers to the entree’ to the deserts..

Hey Friends,

Yesterday I was reminded by Isaac of a funny golfing experience we had.. The story went like this, one fine evening Uncle Clarance, Isaac and myself went to a driving range to practice on our golf.. We’ve done this many times before and apparently this story was our last.. haha..

Everything was fine that day, we were hitting the golf balls quite ok and most of it went quite a distance.. Then when I got the hang of hitting the golf balls with a 6 or 7 size golf stick, I wanted to try to hit it even further.. I had to use a driver (which is a 1 size golf stick, the heaviest) if I wanted any chance of it going more then 200 yards..

I got my WISH – I managed to use the driver to hit the golf ball the furthest I’ve ever hit it.. It reached almost 400 yards I think.. Not only did I hit the golf ball but the driver also went as well, it flew a good 50 yards on the field.. I went like “OPSSSSS…” I turned back and saw Uncle Clarance and Isaac running away to hiding themselves.. Then I realized why..

It was a two story driving range, there is a top and bottom section to hit the golf balls.. I was at the top section (luckily there was no one else on the top section but us..) Every other golfers were at the bottom section and they all stop playing to looked up.. All of them gave a “which dumbass let go of his driver” look.. Embarrassed to the max I had to walk pass the other golfers and meet the person in charge or the caddy I think to help me retrieve the driver..

You know that guy asked me something even more funnier, “Which driver is your sir?” I was amazed at his response and laughing on the inside said the size and the brand of it.. I was like huh?? There are other drivers or golf sticks on the field?? My embarrassment level wasn't that high anymore, I wasn't the only one.. haha.. I guess this is the reason we don't do sports(golfing) anymore or maybe we just didn't have the time.. haha..

You guys know very well that I promote food worth your wild and yesterday I had some very good Indian food for lunch at KERALA Restaurant.. This restaurant serves one of the best MUTTON CURRY and CUTLETS.. They are also well known for their fish head curry but I didn't have the chance to try it which keeps me wondering.. I will surely return to try it.. :P It’s been quite some time since I’ve eaten cutlets and yesterday I was reminded how good it tasted..

Hey friends,

Thought of sharing with you and letting you know how oblivious some people can be in life.. Lets just name the characters, Robert – R and Suthan - S.. Robert and Suthan have nothing to do with this story but just for fun.. :D

R: Suthan!!! (shouts his lungs out), I'm doing laundry..

S: Why are you doing the laundry?

R: Cause the maid wont..

S: Oh ok.. Do you have any idea on how to do the laundry?

R: You wash it and you dry it, how hard can it be?

S: Then WHY do you need me for?

R: Which one is the washing machine?

S: (a huge smile on his face).. That one, (pointing to the washing machine)..

R: Thanks..

S: Just kidding, it's that one.. (pointing to the dryer).. (looking at each other, Suthan laughs)..

S: Sorry, its the first one..

R: (Robert looked annoyed at Suthan)..

S: Look it say wash on the dial.. (pointing to the washing machine)..

R: Ok.. I can do it, I will just turn it on and stick it in..

S: It's a washing machine, not a cocktail waitress..

S: Lets start by separating the delicates..

R: How is that not like a cocktail waitress?

S: Charming, hand me the detergent..

R: (takes a bottle)..

S: No no no, that the fabric softener.. You put that in AFTER the first cycle..

R: (Robert looks at a few bottles and the washer again and again and says..)

R: You know what? Maybe I'll just buy some new clothes..

S: Don't be such a baby.. Takes the detergent.. (pours the detergent in)

S:(Suthan, winds the machine and explains) Put it to cold wash, cold rinse and gentle cycle and turn it on.. DONE!!..

R: (hears the water going in and asks).. What’s that?

S: That would be water entering the washing machine..

R: Robert goes, "AMAZING!!!"

S: Yea it's pretty cutting edge..

R: What will they think off next? (innocent looking face)

S: Yea I hear scientists are working on a machine that can cook 2 pieces of bread at the same time..

R: Yea yea very funny.. Now what?

S: We wait..

R: How will we know when the clothes are done?

S: Don't worry the machine will call you on your cell phone
(answering him sarcastically)..

R: REALLY?? (Robert had an amazement and innocent look on his face again)..

S: (looks at him with a “ARE YOU SERIOUS” kind of face and walks away)..

R: I cant see what's the maid complaining about.. It's kind of fun..

After a few minutes later.. The maid walks in a asks who using the
washing machine?

R: I am, its not that hard.. (Robert explains to the maid).. The cold wash, cold rinse and gentle cycle..

R: (Robert’s phone rings).. That’s probably them now.. (he picks up his phone and goes)..

R: HELLO!! Oh, Hey mom.. Thought you were my washing machine..

The maid’s jaw drops till the floor in disbelieve.. haha..

Raya Convoy 2009..

Hey guys,

Last Sat, I was down in KL and went to my friends open house for Raya.. We been planning this “Raya Convoy Trip” for quite sometime dy and it did happen.. Well who were the people involved that day, Charles, Kajen, Malini, Hannah, Syaima, Azam, Izza, Hanif, Mai, Pudin, Mashin, Ihse and both Ain’s.. hehe.. Come lets take a look..

To be more specific, we visited 4 houses.. Starting from Syaima’s house at Subang to Ain Nabilah’s at Kota Kemuning to Azam’s at Gombak and ended our Raya Convoy trip at Ain Suffian’s at Sentul..

First at Syaima’s house we had Nasi Kerabu and Spaghetti.. I think I paced myself quite well I think.. I ate a lot but not until maxed out.. Had to think of the other 3 houses I was going to visit next.. haha.. The Nasi Kerabu was quite awesome..

Then after our lunch (I would consider it my breakfast), we headed to our next destination which was Ain Nabilah’s place.. All of us convoyed in 3 cars that day.. None of us knew where she stayed but got there with no difficulties at all due to Charles GPS.. :D There was also Nasi Kerabu served at Ain’s place and Mihun Soup.. I went for the Mihun Soup knowing that I just had rice.. The soup was good too.. :D

I consider it my lunch and after which we headed to town to pick up Izza and continued our journey to Azam’s house.. We had Asam Pedas Fish, Chicken Rendang, Prawns and Mix Vege.. No avoiding rice here.. The Asam Pedas Fish was so good that I even had second helpings.. So much for a well paced eating plan right?? haha.. Oh ya, after that Azam brought out “Mee Siam” (not Malini).. :P

All of us was exhausted and just too full to move any further.. We killed some time by watching some video of us few years back when we were in Uni (I’ll upload these videos when I get a chance too).. I know it has been just a few months out of Uni but it seems like a long time ago..

What I remember most was Charles mentioning “By the time we see this right, going to be maybe after we graduated dy la” in one of the videos.. I was laughing my head off and felt kind of sad a bit to leave all those times behind.. But I know there’s going to be many more in the future.. :D

Lastly, Ain Suffian’s house (for dinner??).. I had some Mee something (forgot what you call it).. It was good too and not to mention the cakes and “kuih muih”.. My favorite was the Chocolate Moist cake, it was simply awesome.. I couldn't stop myself from having slices after slices of it.. Ain’s younger siblings were fun to watch, the youngest is 4 years old and Ain just graduated.. Tell me about age gap?? hehe.. :)

After a fun fill day, it was time for me to get back home.. Charles sent me to the bus station at Bukit Jalil and I think they should really consider of having a permanent bus terminal there.. So that's all for this, UTP Raya Convoy 2009 trip.. THE END.. Till our next trip, Penang (hopefully:P)..

I felt as though we were driving non stop for an hour plus plus from one corner of KL to another.. But it was worst it.. The friends and fellowship was just so good, reminiscing and laughing on our times in uni and please don't get me started again on the superb food that day.. I enjoyed all of it man..

Well, as for me.. I went to tapau Dim Sum and updated my blog.. haha.. Traveling makes you hungry I guess or maybe I’m just hungry every time (that sounds about right).. Mind you, that this is even after visiting friends for Raya (4 houses).. This is another story for a better time later (after I get the pictures I guess)..

Hey guys & girls,

I’ve just found the best chicken rice shop ever (quite hard for any other shop to trump it).. Its not surprising that, this shop was just under my nose and I didn't even realize it, kind of close to my house some more.. How did I get to know of this restaurant?? Well, through Ms. Foodie, Sharon John of course.. haha..

This superb chicken rice shop is called Restoran You Kee or You Kee X.O Trading.. So far for now, I give this shop a rating of 4.8 / 5.. It’s missing a 0.2 just because I hope there is a (one) restaurant that can beat or even match it.. hehe.. Come take a look at the pictures.. If you think the pictures look good (don't have a DSLR but a digital camera will do.. hehe..), then you must most definitely taste the food there.. Trust me, after eating the chicken rice here you wont want to eat chicken rice anywhere else dy..

Plus they serve all other dishes as well.. The dishes also taste as good as the chicken rice there.. Well they have an executive chef cooking for them, he’s actually the owner’s son or son in law something like that.. So if you guys drop by JB, you must pay a visit to this restaurant..
