Hey Friends,

This goes to show that

pictures (a video) speak louder then words..

He didn't have to say anything to make his point..

When deep injury is done to us,

We never recover until we forgive..

I like this part..

Forgiveness does not change the PAST,

but it does enlarge the FUTURE..

Be Positive..

Hey Friends,

One tree makes one million matchsticks..

But it only takes a SINGLE matchstick to

burn down one million trees..

Similarly one negative thought or doubt can burn thousands of dreams in you life.. Think about it.. Be positive and live life to the fullest..

Malaysian Embassy..

“Have a wonderful time in Singapore.. If you need help, do not worry.. You can always call the Malaysian Embassy at +656235011..”

This was the first SMS I got when I stepped into Singapore sent by their telecommunications service.. Somehow I found it very amusing.. Sharon was reading this to me one of the days and I thought she was just pulling my leg.. haha.. Malaysian’s get into that much trouble in Singapore??..

Home Sweet Home..

What’s the first thing you normally do when you get home from a long journey if you consider KL to JB a long journey??.. hehe..

Well, as for me.. I went to tapau Dim Sum and updated my blog.. haha.. Traveling makes you hungry I guess or maybe I’m just hungry every time (that sounds about right).. Mind you, that this is even after visiting friends for Raya (4 houses).. This is another story for a better time later (after I get the pictures I guess)..

It’s true when they say there’s no place better then your home sweet home.. GTG for now.. Have a early day tomorrow, Sunday service.. WooHoo!.. :D

You Kee X.O Restaurant..

Hey guys & girls,

I’ve just found the best chicken rice shop ever (quite hard for any other shop to trump it).. Its not surprising that, this shop was just under my nose and I didn't even realize it, kind of close to my house some more.. How did I get to know of this restaurant?? Well, through Ms. Foodie, Sharon John of course.. haha..

This superb chicken rice shop is called Restoran You Kee or You Kee X.O Trading.. So far for now, I give this shop a rating of 4.8 / 5.. It’s missing a 0.2 just because I hope there is a (one) restaurant that can beat or even match it.. hehe.. Come take a look at the pictures.. If you think the pictures look good (don't have a DSLR but a digital camera will do.. hehe..), then you must most definitely taste the food there.. Trust me, after eating the chicken rice here you wont want to eat chicken rice anywhere else dy..

Plus they serve all other dishes as well.. The dishes also taste as good as the chicken rice there.. Well they have an executive chef cooking for them, he’s actually the owner’s son or son in law something like that.. So if you guys drop by JB, you must pay a visit to this restaurant..

Asam pedas fish, my favorite dish..

Mix pork dish..

The owner.. “Selamba” rite..

Hosanna Lyrics
Songwriters: Fraser, Brooke;

I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes

I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

Hosanna in the highest [x2]

I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith

I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees
We're on our knees

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me

Break my heart from what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdoms cause
As I go from nothing to

[Chorus x2]
Hosanna in the highest

Old School Food Trip..

Hey guys,

It’s another food trip with Ms. Foodie, Sharon John.. hehe.. Sharon, Isaac and I have been planning to travel down to Melaka just for the sake of food but we didn't even managed to travel out of JB this time.. Finally we ended up at JB town and was joined by my sis, Aby.. She’s back for the Raya holidays.. :)

Our food trip was suppose to include breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner but we managed to do 1 of those only.. haha.. The great thing about this food trip was that we didn't plan that much on it but eventually it had a theme.. So does many other spontaneous plans that we do..

We plan it last minute and just go with flow and no one has enough time to come up with any excuses to ffk from the plan or anything.. Plus we don't expect to much from the trip and we ended up enjoying more then if we to plan and come up short.. OK.. I’m talking nonsense dy..

Well for breakfast we went to a “Kopitiam”, a rather old school looking shop in the middle of town called Restaurant HUA MUI.. The breakfast was above average for me.. I wasn't in the mood to eat, I know this is surprising for some of you who knows me.. I just had 2 half boil eggs, a toast , a coffee and and and that's all.. haha..

But the shop was constantly full of people especially people from Singapore.. haha.. I will return to this shop again for their lunch specialist another time.. It look very good thought..

We talked and we talked until 12pm just to kill time, so that we could go to our next destination which was like 50m away called Kafeteria Roost.. WOW! The design of the shop was so unique and old fashion from the furniture to the accessories to the murals on the walls.. Something refreshing for me from the norm..

IMGP5252 IMGP5237

I was just looking through all the old thing they still kept for display purposes and was able to reminisce on my childhood.. I saw games I used to play when I was still in primary school.. But all of us was to full to order any food and decided to just chill out and ordered their juices.. I though the juices was pretty awesome, a mixture of fruit juices with yogurt.. Now I’ll let the pictures do more of the talking (a tour of Roost).. hehe..

When was the last time you saw this kind of old TV set??

They even sold some of the items they displayed..

An ABBA record..

A vintage shop,

it sold stuff that you could only find in the 60’s and 70’s..

This is funny.. :D

IMGP5250 IMGP5251

The wall had a mural of a train tunnel..

Our drinks.. Yes, its in a small bucket.. haha..

Like the one you use for building sand castles..

Everyone is on Facebook..

Hey guys,

Just now I saw my mom teaching my dad to use FACEBOOK.. haha.. It’s a very funny thing just because it got to do with my dad and technology.. My dad’s the kind of person who will rather call then SMS a few words.. hehe.. So, it’s true when they say technology has no boundaries and age is most definitely not one of them.. I wont be surprised if someone’s grandmother was on facebook today..

Call It What You Want..

Hey guy/girls,

One is not enough and neither are two..

Three is just unfair and some people need four..

Just to fulfill all their needs..

By the way, I'm talking about Singaporeans and shopping carts.. What were you thinking about huh??..

Another distinct way to differentiate Singaporeans from Malaysians is when you’re in a shopping mall and you can spot a group of people together and all of them are in shorts and also carrying backpacks.. Well they are most probably 95% positive for being Singaporeans.. A part from the most obvious, chirping that everything is cheap.. So well they you go weird ways of observing people but try it next time.. Haha..

No disrespect to Singaporeans but “if the shoe fits” right?? or “sape makan cili dia rasa pedasnya” (who eats the chili, they will feel the spicy) – literal translation for those Singaporeans who don’t understand it. :D Sorry again.. hehe.. :D

Gamer Review..

Hey friends,

The movie was ok for RM 6 but if it was any more expensive then that I would honestly say, don’t bother watching it.. The only reason I watched it is because the movie was at 11.30 in the morning and only RM 6 (early bird).. Just imagine me saying, thank God it was RM 6 and not any more when the movie was over.. Now when I come to think of it, Gamer is not even worth the RM 6.. What a waste of money.

I give it a rating 2 / 5.. Just because I didn’t leave the cinema and trust me I have done that before in the midst of watching some nonsense movie.. I wouldn’t advice anyone on getting the DVD as well.. I would rather you use the money to get a mcD value meal (it's only 5.95, see even this is cheaper then that).. So for those who want to watch Gamer, please don’t go ahead with it and if you do, don’t tell me I didn’t worn you..

To make things interesting while watching the movie, there was this crazy / weird guy sitting two rows in front of Isaac and me. Well even before the movie began he was already wearing his sun glasses and before he took his seat, he took it off and had a look around the cinema and smiled and put it on again and took his seat..

The cinema was too bright for him I guess.. Half way through the movie he decides to put on his helmet and worst, pulled down the helmet visor.. What’s wrong with you man??.. Maybe he was so into the movie.. By looking at this guy itself, you can imagine how bad the movie was.. Gamer either made him:
1.feel like he was in the movie and he needed to put on his helmet OR
2.become even crazier and mentally retarded (like the sun glasses was not a indication of it??) OR
3.feel so sleepy and he wanted to block out the noise and light so he could take a nap
OR what do you think?? haha..
Well for me I think it would make sense if it was reason no.2.. At least there was something to laugh about in the end when I look back on this few hours which I would never get back..

Save Us From Ourselves..

Do you agree or disagree??..
When I say that humans are also created to save us from ourselves..

Friendly Custom Officers..

Hey you all,

Yes the title refers to Singapore customs officers.. Everyone knows why, cause Malaysian customs doesn't care who passes through.. Apparently they had upgrades which included a whole squad of x ray vision custom officers.. They have the ability to look through vehicles and detect illegal items..

Then again there is virtually nothing that can threaten the country then anything that is already in it.. So now you know why they just look at you and if you’re lucky you’ll get a smile..

Across the causeway they employ slightly different methods such as direct communication (one-to-one basis).. One such incident happened yesterday when I was on the way back from the FINE city with Isaac.

Customs Officer – CO, Me – JO, Isaac- IS

A custom officer walks up to my car.. I puts down the window and Isaac gives the “we DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG look” and passes our passports to him..

CO – Checks my passport and looks in the car at me and says : “John??”..

JO – Resisting all temptation of being sarcastic and replies : “YES”..

These things were running through my mind which I wanted to just say it out loud at that custom officer..

1. I wanted to look around my car and say : “Hurm, Ya.. I don't see anyone else..”

2. “No, he’s John” (pointing to Isaac)..

3. “Yes, the last time I checked.. People still call me John..”

CO – Then he looks at Isaac’s passport and asks.. “Isaac??”..

I was thinking to myself, if he know that I’m John and the only other person in the car with me is Isaac.. They why la??..

IS – “Yes”..

Now here are some great comebacks Isaac thought of while the custom’s officer was asking him a stupid question ..

1. “Maybe..”

2. “OMG.. You can read..”

3. Reads custom officers nametag and says : “Zainal??”..

When he handed us our passports I closed the window and we laughed (if I could roll on the floor while laughing I would have..) our way back to Malaysia.. Mine you this took place while we were queuing up before the customs checkpoint.. hehe..

Buses and Lories..

Today I was so annoyed at the bus and lorry drivers who always drive like they own the road or something but today was like.. haih.. They just don't care about anything else on the road.. How I wish I could just drive a tank all over them.. They are so irresponsible and reckless when driving their toys..

You think you’re so big and ugly you can do what ever you want is it??

What about all the little pretty cars moving around huh??

The Ugly Truth Review..

Hey friends,

The movie is an explicit romantic comedy that will make you laugh till the end.. It’s just so funny.. The movie is called “Kebenaran yang Pahit” in bahasa.. See you guys, before the movie began I started laughing dy.. Well I watched it with Davin, Michelle and my family.. haha.. So please, you guys/girls must watch it and please don't watch it alone.. Bring someone your opposite sex along.. I give it a 3.8 / 5 rating..

First Katherine Heigl as Abby is a control freak working as a TV show producer.. Just imagine she goes on a date and brings a paper on interesting topics to talk about on a date and passes a copy to her date, like a guideline some sort and what’s even worst, she does a background check on him too.. Gila man.. But she looked pretty hot in the movie.. I’ve been a big fan of Katherine Heigl since Grey’s Anatomy, being my favorite character.. hehe.. :D

Next Gerard Butler as Mike on the other hand is just showing the world what every guy think and wants, which is just practically sex from a relationship on his TV show called “The Ugly Truth”.. Hence The Ugly Truth poster, ladies love with their heads and guys with their dicks..

One night Abby stumbles across a TV show called “The Ugly Truth” and think that the show is just full of crap and decides to give Mike, the show host a call.. Abby describes the perfect guy and Mike thinks it’s far fetch to be true..

Then another night Abby found her self on a tree, trying to save her cat and meets her prince charming, Colin.. He was like everything she wished for, I thought in the beginning Colin was placed there by Mike to prove something.. Apparently I was wrong.. hehe..

Colin thinks she’s a bit weird based on first impression and doesn't want to pursue her.. Then Mike steps in and wants to help her to get Colin to prove his point (that guys are attracted to hot girls only) and if he succeeds Abby will work happily with him and if it doesn't work he’ll quit..

So the adventure, comedy and romance take a higher turn.. I’m not going to spoilt the ending for you all.. But it’s a happy ending, so all of you know what it means la.. hehe.. Another thing is that, she needs to thank her cat cause the cat showed her the TV show (The Ugly Truth) and also Colin, the guy next door.. haha..

Toh Chiang Yu Tiao..

Hey you all,

After the super full dinner at Master Steamboat.. Davin, Michelle and I went to Singapore just to visit Chang Yung and have some supper / dessert.. Not bad ar.. After eating so much, we could still think of our next meal.. haha..

We drove in (no other mode of transportation at 12am) and somehow the Causeway was jam and it took longer then expected to reach.. We picked up Chang Yung from NUS and headed for our dessert.. Well, this Toh Chiang Yu Tiao (Soya Bean with Cha Kuey) was a first time for me, I was kind of excited to try it (excited over food??).. haha.. There are 2 simple STEPS to enjoying this dessert..

Order the Soya Bean & Yu Tiao (Cha Kuey)..

You can have the soya bean cold or hot..

I preferred it hot, tastier I think..

Toh Chiang Yu Tiao..

Dunk the Cha Kuey in the Soya Bean.. haha..

Pictures speak louder then words.. :P
